My clients often get disheartened when they get on the scale and see that the lbs haven’t dropped as quickly as they would have hoped and they are following the plan 100%
Unfortunately the scale is not the whole picture, that’s why I always use a tape measure. I take measurements in 5 different areas when we are recording body composition with body transformations. Certain foods we eat, or if we have drank alcohol can cause us to retain water therefore showing on the scale. Measurements give a more realistic story as it shows the inches lost.
There are other non scale victories we can use in our journey to becoming healthier…..
